Thanks to the Breeders' Cup, PPs for all 14 championship races set for Friday and Saturday are available through the official programs.
Walk into Santa Anita, and you'll be handed one of these for free. If you can't make it to "The Great Race Place," this is the next best thing.
The free programs -- featuring this year's unique cover art -- include all the usual running lines, along with a race-by-race breakdown of the wagering menu for multi-race sequences and head to head bets.
Friday's head to heads, with a $10 minimum and 10% takeout, include USA vs. Europe plays on the Juvenile Turf Sprint and Juvenile Fillies Turf. It's an East vs. West wager in the Juvenile.
A trio of "Special Daily Doubles" are also on the menu. The Juvenile Turf has Saturday's Turf as leg two; the Juvenile Fillies leads to the Distaff; and the Juvenile begins a double to the Classic.
Saturday's head to head wagers begin with the Filly & Mare Turf. It's another USA vs. Europe play, with the same option in the Mile. Finally, we get a horse vs. horse head to head in the Classic with bettors having a choice of morning line favorite McKinzie or top 3-year-old contender Code of Honor.
