The Arizona State Sun Devils and the Arizona Wildcats face off on Saturday in the annual Territorial Cup rivalry game.
Who will win the game?
Early predictions and Las Vegas seem to like ASU's chances. Herm Edwards' team is almost a two-touchdown favorite.
But, any follower of this rivalry knows that odds and records don't mean much entering this game.

Kent Somers writes: "It’s been said you can throw records out the window when these two teams meet. But does anyone throw anything out of a window anymore? Other than the neighbor who tosses cigarette butts from his car into my yard? ASU has the better team. The better team doesn’t always win this game, but I think it does Saturday night."
The Arizona Republic: Arizona State 38, Arizona 24
Jeff Metcalfe writes: "ASU is and should be the favorite for a third straight rivalry win and seventh in 10 years. But Arizona has two wins over teams that beat the Sun Devils and is dangerous on multiple fronts including its nothing to lose/everything to gain status. The Sun Devils needed a quasi miracle to win 41-40 last year in Tucson. It won’t be that close this time around."
The Arizona Republic: ASU 24, Arizona 7
Emily Horos writes: "Against Oregon, ASU got to play spoiler by knocking the Ducks out of consideration for the College Football Playoff. The win also made the Sun Devils bowl eligible. Win or lose this week, Arizona won’t be playing in a bowl game and the Wildcats won’t even get the chance to keep their rivals out of a bowl. This game will be fun for those in Tempe, but otherwise, it might not be much for the ESPN audience to see."

Arizona has lost six straight games (and scored a total of 13 points in the last two) to drop to 4–7 overall, and head coach Kevin Sumlin recently fired his third defensive assistant coach of the season. Meanwhile, Arizona State is riding high after last Saturday night’s impressive upset over Oregon on the big stage (ABC primetime affair). That win snapped a four-game losing streak and secured bowl eligibility for the second time in Herm Edwards’ two seasons on the job. A second-straight win over Arizona would create even more momentum for the Sun Devils."
